Rob Brown concentrated on finishing high school before taking on his next role, as Tye in the independent drama The Orphan King (2005), opposite Alexis Bledel. A talented athlete, he next played a football player in Coach Carter (2005), starring Samuel L. Jackson. Brown learned to dance for Taking the Lead (2006), starring Antonio Banderas and filmed in Toronto. He most recently starred in Don Jon(2013).
